One is near the bellows pipe, and one is in the pot on top. One port is visible on the furnace. These openings were useful for loading charcoal for the workers. The actual environment involved 1 person on bellows, 1 loading charcoal and handing tools around, and 2 bead makers. This could have been reduced to one on bellows and one making beads. |
