Who's Who?

Bead Making Experiment July 1 2008

« large pic »
Top view of the furnace in use. Items of note include 3 different ways of attempting to anneal the beads. Two are on the bottom of the image standing near the smelter. One is near the bellows pipe, and one is in the pot on top. One port is visible on the furnace. These openings were useful for loading charcoal for the workers. The actual environment involved 1 person on bellows, 1 loading charcoal and handing tools around, and 2 bead makers. This could have been reduced to one on bellows and one making beads.
