Bead Making Experiment July 2009

« large pic »
A pile of finsihed beads the next morning. The red/white ones in the top left were built from tesserae. A piece of reticella can be seen in the lower right. Two beads are also visible decorated with a similar reticella. Although the large white/blue/red bead in the center belies it the majority of these beads hacve fairly clean ends reducing the stress as they are removed from the mandrel.
